It would appear that at least a large part of Deer Lake has frozen over, perhaps an early start to the process?  Nope!  It was just ice-cubes once a breeze blew. 

 

 

December 4:

While other area lakes ice-up, winds keep Deer Lake open for cubes.  North shore along Sherwood Trail hit hard as south breeze blow. 

 

ICE-IN: December 5-6, came with snow.

No skating this year unless the winds blow it all away!
